Open the cap and slide the switch to "On" position. Green LED turns on, plug the iPWR into iPhone 3GS/3G, iPhone or iPod, charging will be initiated instantly. When green LED turns off, all energy in iPWR has been transferred. iPWR must be recharged before using it the next time.

How to charge the iPWR backup battery?
Using a MiniUSB cable (included) to connect the iPWR backup battery with computer or USB charger (USB charger is included in iPhone's retail box from Apple); Red LED on backup battery will be turned on indicating that charging is in process.
